This i530 Nextel Motorola iden phone is a tuff little cell. The phone is ideally suited for users who would use a cell phone in a harsher environment, such as construction workers, police, firefighters, farmers etc. We have provided a product review of this rugged cell phone and based it on customer feed back.

Pros
+ A hard rubber encased outer shell provides protection if it is dropped from short distances and in some cases from a higher distance.
+ Speaker phone capable for both two-way and cell phone usage.
+ The i530 has excellent signal coverage where coverage is available compared to regular PCS cell phones.
+ Some people consider it an ugly, bulky phone but the majority that have it, like the size of it as it feels that you have a solid phone in your hand unlike some of the smaller cellular phones.
+ Built-in fraud and cloning protection.
+ As a wireless modem - Attach your laptop or PDA and use your i530 for online mobile computing.
Cons
- No front display so that phone has to be opened to view caller line identification before answering.
- Some consider it a little on the heavy side for overall weight.
- No color display.
