The LG c1300 cell phone is a good basic cell phone made for the entry level or unsophisticated cellular customer. Upgraded features of the LG 1300 offer a color display and much smaller size. The LCD color display is 16 bit with 128 x 128 pixel size. It features the clam shell design with a stub antenna. The battery is a Li-ion that provides 3.4 hours of talk time and 240 hours of standby time. The telephone book holds 255 entries and stores multiple numbers per name. The c1300 also features an internal alarm clock that works when the phone is off. There is also a built-in calendar and calculator that has a unit converter.

For messaging options, you will have access to text and image services. Two way and instant messaging are provided. You can customize the graphics and ringtones of the LG. The c1300 LG comes with 40 polyphonic ring tones. There is a jack for a headset and java games are downloadable. Wireless internet is provided with WAP 2.0.

The LG C1300 has excellent screen quality, uses mp3 ringtones, and provides multimedia messaging. The weak areas of the LG C1300 are that it does not have an external speaker. With the clam shell design, the speaker is located inside the telephone. When the telephone is shut and the phone rings, the ringtones cannot be easily heard, and there�s no way to compensate for that. The design does not include a speakerphone, outer display, camera, and the quality of the ringtones could be improved. A case is necessary as the body scratches easily.
