motorola v505 review: "Motorola V505 Review

Motorola v505 review...
The new Motorola v505 camera cellular phone was released in the 3rd quarter of 2004 and is used on the AT&T wireless network.
Having been in the cellular phone business for over 10 years here in Canada we have learned to judge the phones when they come out as to what category of persons they will appeal to. The v505 Motorola seems to be destined to be used primarily by the business person being that it has a 1000 entry phone book with up to 5 numbers per entry plus the fact that it is a Quad Band which makes it very handy for people that conduct business all over the world.
This particular cell phone does seem to be about a one third larger than some of the manufactures slimmer models and does weigh a little more than I would like to see new phones come in at.
Lets talk about more features...
The Motorola v505 is a VGA equipped cell phone with a 300K or .3 mega pixel camera. It is capable of three resolution, 640x240, 320x240 and 160x120. It comes with 6 mb of memory that can hold up to 150 pictures if set on the lowest resolution. The camera may be use to have pictures assigned to your phonebook entries so that when that person calls their portrait will pop up on the inside display with the number. Also you can use it to have personalized wallpapers for you display.
It has a speaker phone and supports Bluetooth technology so you can transfer files, use the phone as
a GPRS modem, or pair it with a wireless headset. A feature called Talk Then Fax lets you make a voice call, then send a
fax in the same call.
Software that is included is SMS and MMS client, small email client, WAP browser, and a Java-based instant messaging
client that supports AIM, ICQ, and Yahoo Messenger. A standard PIM suite, video clip player, and
camera"
